Good info on river levels and how to read USGS river charts. More for the beginning fisherman; what wasn't covered is that what the graph DOESN'T tell you is the color or visibility level of the river you're looking at. The rivers in the Pacific NW are glacier fed, so some blow out and take several days to drop back into fishable shape. Others are fishable in a day. My suggestion is to use the charts, but drive out to the river and you learn from this experience when a particular river has the clarity and visibility you're looking for. Just my 2 cents. :o)
